We got Diem baptized on Sunday March 12th. She obviously had no clue what was going on but she was so good! We got started a little late because, unfortunately, Doug (the pastor) had a late night with his sick Aunt and forgot he needed to be here. When we called him, he said he was just leaving his house. Apparently he remembered right when he saw his nice clothes laid out (he spent the whole night at the hospital). Anyway, we got it all going and Diem was barely hanging on. It was really near nap time and she was tired. But she held on and let us finish, then she passed out while we ate brunch.
Doug is so wonderful, always makes us laugh.
Diem with Aunt Lainey, and her godmother. We could not figure out what we were going to have Diem wear and that morning I was looking through her closet. I found this dress Gma Laurie got her, it was 9 mos but I tried it on her anyways. It fit and looked very 'baptism" to me.
