We had some family pictures done while Lainey and Robbie were here for their reception. Which was amazing by the way! We had a great time with them!

Finally!

I forget sometimes that I have a blog. I get so busy that this never pops into my mind.
Not a lot has been going on here lately, just working. I am working part-time at a beauty store called ULTA and I love it. I got a management position in the high end makeup. The free product is amazing, otherwise I would not ever get a paycheck! I will be leaving ULTA in two weeks for a job i was offered TODAY at the HRDC. I will be assisting low income families navigate section 8 housing. Hopefully getting them a home they can afford. I am sooooo excited!

Logan is working hard at the concrete plant. They are really loving him there. He gets to play boss sometimes when the higher ups go on vacation. He likes that. He has signed up for a training in September for a class he needs to level jump. Some of the courses are only offered every other year so he has to take them now or miss out on the raise/promotion when it is offered next. He will be going to Charlotte NC.

Diem is loving her daycare but we are in the process of changing that as well. The one now is in Belgrade and it is really out of the way for me to take her there everyday especially with this new job which is downtown Bozeman.  I found a really great daycare that we will check out on Thursday. She came highly recommended and I am loving her approach on child care. A lot of what she does is what I learned in school so I am familiar. Diem is growing so fast. We will soon be getting invites out for her 1st BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! It will of course be zebra and animal print theme :)

It has been really hot this month and Diem is a little crabby about it. We try to keep her cool as best we can but it is just hot in this house! These are just  a couple pictures of the last few weeks. Logan and I went to San Francisco this last weekend and had a very interesting time to say the least. We arrived at our hotel and were informed that it was PRIDE weekend. Wow. Culture shock! I will post pictures soon!

Sorry this took so long.

I feel like I have been so incredibly busy lately that this just was not on my 'to do' list. I am busy building my business with Rodan+Fields and working at ULTA part-time.  Diem and I get at least 3 days a week together and I LOVE it. She is becoming such an independent little lady. She loves to roll around on the floor and is ALMOST crawling. I will post a video, she is nearly there but got a little camera shy.

Logan and I did some landscaping ( I did MOST of it!) the other day and now tonight it is chances of snow! I hope my lilies last through the night! The last few days have been rainy but last week Diem and I were outside a lot enjoying the warmth and sunshine!

Grandma Laurie's Dress

This is a dress that has been in the family for some time. All the little girls have worn it (almost). I had doubts that it would fit Diem yet but when I put it on, I quickly realized it was almost too small!! Glad I didn't wait any longer. Thanks Laurie!

Final post about trip

We all had a great time and the wedding was amazing. I didn't get any pics of the wedding since we were all in it, but some of the reception. It was gorgeous and we all had a wonderful time.

Magic Kingdom

We only saw two Disney characters the whole time we were at Disney. It was a little upsetting. We saw Tigger and Pooh but that is it. It was really hot too. We were able to go on Splash Mountain and The Haunted Mansion but that is it. We just didn't have time for the lines. We ate lunch there and walked around but left around 4 or 5.

Epcot and Magic Kingdom

When we first arrived in Florida, we had to check in and go directly to Epcot to meet Lainey, Robbie, his family, and Kyle. Since we were distracted, we got lost finding our hotel and were running late to meet the group. We got lost a lot. That was really hard on us a few times, we wanted to kill each other (my mom, dad and I).

Some info from our trip

We just got back from Florida last night pretty late. Diem did so well on the way there but on the way home, she had had enough and it was really hard on her. I felt so bad, ALL of our returning flights were delayed so getting to the next ones were especially difficult. There was really bad weather, it is actually amazing we made it home on time.

Our flight from Orlando was delayed on the tarmac for an hour and a half due to a thunderstorm. So after that we flew for 2 hours to NYC (weird I know). Then that flight was delayed by an hour because the plane we needed was late and they still had to clean and stock it. This made our flight from Minn. especially hard to catch because it was on time and we were late. They had to hold the flight for us and drive us there on a cart. We were relieved that they waited for us, I don't know what I would have done if we had to stay over.

The flight from FL to NYC was hard for baby( and many others I guess) because I don't think they pressurized it correctly. We could feel all of the changes and it was really hurting Diem. But she slept most of it and the flight from MINN to Boz.

The trip was fun, but extremely busy. There was barely any down time and that was hard for everyone. There were times where I thought Diem was just going to lose it but she really held it together considering what she could have been like. She had some digestion issues that had to be addressed and after we "fixed" her, she was a lot better.

These are my favorites of Diem so far. She is such a natural beauty. And such a happy baby!

Sneak Peek

We had some family photos taken on Sunday and here are some of them. A friend of mine did the pictures and you may not believe it but she just does this for fun. She is extremely talented and I love the pictures. I have only seen about 8 so far and I am so excited to see the rest. Diem was incredibly photogenic and was a natural with the camera. She will probably be a model some day!! :)

Lainey's Bridal Shower

Just some pictures of the decor and some with Diem and her grandparents. She was so cute in her summer outfit. It was a beautiful day, almost 60 degrees. Funny how that is nice to us.

Diem's Baptism

We got Diem baptized on Sunday March 12th. She obviously had no clue what was going on but she was so good! We got started a little late because, unfortunately, Doug (the pastor) had a late night with his sick Aunt and forgot he needed to be here. When we called him, he said he was just leaving his house. Apparently he remembered right when he saw his nice clothes laid out (he spent the whole night at the hospital). Anyway, we got it all going and Diem was barely hanging on. It was really near nap time and she was tired. But she held on and let us finish, then she passed out while we ate brunch.

Doug is so wonderful, always makes us laugh.
